Welcome to the Inland Northwest Business Travel Association

Messsage from INBTA President Shannon Smith

We are pleased to welcome you to the Inland Northwest Business Travel Association (INBTA).  As a member, you will enjoy many benefits and will be joining over 50 other professionals in the Travel Industry to share, learn and network.

INBTA is a 501c6 local organization providing a forum for individuals who are responsible for company travel decisions/arrangements and meeting planning.   We provide the opportunity to learn the latest trends in the travel industry as well as network with companies throughout the Inland Northwest on travel policies, strategies and overall travel related programs.

  • Direct Members procure or manage business travel or meeting planning for their corporations.
  • Allied Members provide travel services and products to Direct Members.

Together, we promote reliable connections for managing everyday travel operations.

INBTA maintains a no solicitation policy, but encourages networking opportunities.

We hold monthly Luncheon Meetings, with the exception of July and August, and an evening reception in June.  April is our East Meets West Tradeshow which brings vendors from the Pacific Northwest to Spokane to visit with corporate travel buyers.  In October, we host our annual Harvest Moon Auction to benefit our scholarship and program funds and a local charity.  Our website is a great source of information.  You can register for all of our events at www.inbta.org

Our parent organization is Global Business Travel Association (GBTA).  They hold an annual Convention and Exposition that draws people worldwide who desire to further their education and industry knowledge, as well as build working relationships.   As a member of GBTA, you can help impact travel legislation and industry issues critical to business travel.  Please contact us if you would like to pursue membership in this organization.

Thank you so much for your interest in INBTA. We hope you will consider membership in our organization.

Warm Regards,

Shannon Smith
