Globally, companies have shifted their supply chain sourcing to better reflect the values of stakeholders that expect sustainable and responsible practices. Strategic sustainable procurement is permeating every aspect of operations, including travel and events. In short, sustainability is no longer an add-on; it is an imperative. Many buyers are missing opportunities to incorporate sustainability, often because they lack understanding of how to build the business case, what questions to ask, and how to evaluate and compare options. Suppliers have sustainable features and are ready to offer them but are not sure which ones to prioritize and promote to stand out. Learn how the sourcing process can elevate the role of travel and meetings in corporate sustainability programs and how GBTA supports you with tools and resources.
